Pork, beef, fresh garlic and smoked Spanish paprika are the stars of this bold, fully cooked chorizo from our Oakland store, The Pasta Shop. There's no need to cook this wonderfully spiced (and not spicy) chorizo. Use it to add huge flavor to frittatas and breakfast eggs, bean dishes, soups and stews; make an outstanding paella; or simply slice and enjoy with Manchego cheese and a glass of Spanish wine.
Chef Scott Miller has been handmaking sausages for nearly 30 years from The Pasta Shop kitchen at Rockridge Market Hall. He spent years honing the recipe for this perfectly seasoned sausage, which, like all of our housemade charcuterie, is made with meats that are free of antibiotics and growth hormones.
Unopened, this chorizo with remain fresh for 7 – 10 days in the refrigerator. Enjoy within 4 or 5 days once opened.
