Spicy Tomato Sauce with Hot Peppers & Garlic
Arrabbiata, meaning “angry” in Italian, is a spicy sauce that gets its fiery temper from hot peperoncini and garlic. Like all of Rustichella d’Abruzzo’s tomato sauces, their Arrabbiata Tomato Sauce starts out with sun-ripened Italian tomatoes, sweet sautéed onions, extra virgin olive oil and a touch of salt. The hot pepper flakes add just the right amount of heat. If you are seeking a little more fire, add a spoonful of Hot Peppers in Olive Oil.
This Southern Italian sauce, popular in Napoli, is typically paired with longer pasta cuts like spaghetti and bucatini. It is equally delicious used as a base for braises and stews such as Chicken Cacciatore or Cioppino. Arrabbiata Tomato Sauce also makes for a great pizza sauce – try topping it with fresh mozzarella, briny Italian anchovy fillets and an extra sprinkling of hot pepper flakes.
Ingredients: Tomato pulp, extra virgin olive oil, chili peppers, sugar, salt, onion, garlic.

I have been buying pasta and sauces from Market Hall for years and everything is great. I highly suggest buying from them if you live in a rural area with few local options. Easy to use website and products sent promptly.
Formaggio Kitchen in Cambridge Mass carries this product as well and they only carry the best just like Market Hall Foods. I make a fantastic keto grilled eggplant lasagna with this (recipe on my instagram Kleinman_cooks) I have tried almost every sauce out there (been shopping specialty food stores for 40 years and buy any sauce that I have not tried) and have not found anything as good except Cara Mia brand which I can no longer find. I doubt you could make a sauce from scratch this good because you would not be able to find tomatoes of this quality.
Actually used this jar in conjunction with my homemade Paella Sofrito and it added a lot of flavor to my dish! Would recommend it. Next bottle I will use on pasta; maybe my own homemade!!!
This is the perfect base sauce if you preffer your tomato sauce to start off with a little more flavor. I'ts not so spicy that it is in any way threatening.
I'm still having this sauce shipped to me in CO. It's a wonderful base sauce for pasta/chicken/pork/beef. Try slow cooking this and add your spices.
