COOP’s MicroCreamery
Boston-based electrical engineer and hospital administrator, Marc “Coop” Cooper, decided to mix things up and go into the ice cream business. After learning how to make high quality premium ice cream, he went on to own and operate two ice cream shops. The success of the shops enabled him to make those same premium frozen desserts for restaurants, caterers and other ice cream shops for 25 years. To keep the staff busy during the off-season, Marc fine-tuned his hot fudge recipe and COOP’s MicroCreamery was officially born in 2009.
