These glorious little herb bundles have saved us so many times in a pinch. A tightly woven packet of winter savory, oregano and thyme, all wrapped in fragrant bay leaves and tied with butcher's twine, farcellets pack a serious flavor punch. Simply float them in your soups, stews, braises or even when you're making stock for a richer, more flavorful finished dish.
I was given a package of these farcellets and have used them to make soups and most deliciously (Rancho Gordo) beans. The bundle imparts so much flavor. I'm buying some this year to pass along.
