Flavor: This bold, brisk black tea is deep and satisfying. It is equally delicious as a breakfast tea or as an afternoon tea. Contrary to its name, this tea does not contain any orange flavoring. The term "orange pekoe" refers to the size and quality of the tea leaves. 

Drink this tea with: Enjoy hot with a touch of cream and sugar alongside a slice of lemony tea cake or French butter cookies. This tea is also wonderful served over ice during the warmer months.

Cooking with tea: Use to make a black tea simple syrup for non-alcoholic drinks and cocktails. Mix one cup each strongly brewed Orange Pekoe Ceylon Tea and granulated white sugar (or demerara sugar if you want a deeper, caramel-like flavor) in a small saucepan and bring to a simmer over medium heat. Heat, stirring occasionally until the sugar dissolves, cool and then use to flavor your favorite drinks.
