A.K.A. That Wonderful Hollow Spaghetti

Also available in a larger 3.3-pound bulk pasta lover's size!

Deriving from the Italian word bucato, meaning "pierced," bucatini are long, thick spaghetti with a hole through the center. A common pasta shape in the area around Rome, bucatini is traditionally served all'Amatriciana, with a spicy sauce of tomatoes, dried chile and guanciale (salt-cured pork). In Sicily, they use these hollow noodles for pasta con le sarde (with sardines and wild fennel). Enjoy with any tomato-based sauce and slurp loudly, as the Romans do.

Thinner than most other bucatini, but nice rough surface to catch the sauce

Shipping

Love shopping with Market Hall Foods, I have been doing so for years. However it has slowed down considerably because of the cost of shipping. I don’t want to spend all my money with Amazon but the fast shipping for a nominal annual fee is outstanding. You have items that I would purchase regularly but it is too costly to ship. I appreciate Market Hall Foods though so I still try to find items to support but not as much.
