Farmhouse Olive Tapenade from Sutter Buttes

Sutter Buttes' Farmhouse Olive Tapenade made with a combination of California-grown green and black olives, such as Arbequina, Mission, Sevillano and Kalamata. The olives are crushed and blended with capers, garlic, herbs and spices. Their tapenade is zesty and briny with a lingering kiss of garlicky goodness. Its rustic, yet spoonable texture makes it ideal for dipping, spreading and using as an ingredient in the kitchen.

How to use

This California-made tapenade is fantastic straight our of the jar. Slather on warm pieces of grilled bread for an easy appetizer (bonus points if you pair it with tangy fresh goat cheese or creamy burrata!). Whisk a spoonful into a bracing vinaigrette for French-style potato salad or use to dress blanched green beans. Stir a few tablespoons into mayonnaise and use as a spread for sandwiches, burgers or even as a dip for oven-roasted potato wedges.
