Made with 100% Abruzzese-Grown Farro
This farro pasta from Rustichella d'Abruzzo is made with just milled whole grain farro—grown in the hills of Abruzzo—and mountain spring water. The texture is slightly more delicate than traditional pasta, so some care is required when cooking. But the result is a nutty, hearty pasta with toothsome texture.
How to use
Farro Spaghetti from Rustichella d'Abruzzo pairs well with a variety of sauces—from your favorite tomato sauce to hearty meat ragù and basil pesto.
The sweet nutty notes in this whole grain pasta also pair beautifully with vegetable-based sauces. Try serving farro spaghetti with sautéed kale and Lemon Agrumato Olive Oil, toss with shaved asparagus and fresh english peas or dress with a sauce of caramelized mushrooms, onions and garnish with grated Pecornia cheese.
About the producer
In 1981, Nicolina Peduzzi decided to revive the pastificio (pasta factory) her father had started 50 years earlier in a small town in Abruzzo, Italy. More family members joined the business, which quickly grew into one of the most extensive artisanal pasta lines in Italy. Nicolina, the matriarch, remains the keeper of artisan core values, which she demonstrates personally at every incredible meal she cooks for the family (And in fact, in the Peduzzi family, many important business decisions are made over a heaping dish of spaghetti!). It is these wonderful meals and moments shared at the family table that ensure that Rustichella d’Abruzzo will continue to maintain high levels of integrity, professionalism and passion for quality.

Amazing
This was a great and healthy treat. Wish it was more readily available,
We have looked for years for a great tasting alternative to regular or whole wheat pasta. This Rustichella d'Abruzzo farro spaghetti pasta has a wonderful taste that blends well with marinara and pesto sauces. And the toothsome texture is lovely. It is not easily found, so I am glad to have happened upon your site. Bon Appetite to all !
