Sicilian Capers Packed in Olive Oil with Oregano & Bay Leaf
Salina capers—grown on the island of Salina, just off the Northern Coast of Sicily—are heralded for their fragrant bouquet and delicate crunch. These prized buds are hand-harvested at optimal plumpness and preserved in extra virgin olive oil, salt and wine vinegar with aromatic Sicilian oregano and bay leaves.
How to use
Briny and herbaceous, Caravaglio Marinated Capers in Olive Oil with Herbs are wonderful straight out of the jar—spoon over grilled swordfish steaks, pair with roasted chicken or toss with halved cherry tomatoes and a good glug of extra virgin olive oil for an instant pasta sauce. My husband and I both love the marinated capers particularly the Caravaglio brand. We have tried other types of capers but the Caravaglio capers are the best. We serve the capers in pasta, as a finishing topping to fish, and chicken. It’s yummy!
Delicious item, quick delivery, very pleased!
Wonderful and loved by the whole family!
