Bergamot-Scented Black Tea - Bestselling Flavor
Tea type: Black
Flavor: For those looking for an earl grey tea that has a big, bold bergamot flavor, you’ve met your match. Earl Grey French Blue fills the mouth with bright, citrusy notes and has a slight floral finish from the addition of vibrant blue cornflowers.
Drink this tea with: A slice of bittersweet chocolate cake topped with sweetened whipped cream spiked with grand marnier.
Cooking with tea: French tea, meet marmalade. The bright bergamot notes in this tea pair wonderfully with bitter orange marmalade. Substitute lightly brewed tea instead of half the water in a classic marmalade recipe.
Words from Mariage Frères tea house: “Graceful and sophisticated, this classic blend reinvents itself by pairing the fruity, zesty and lightly peppery notes of refined bergamot with the sweet-scented hint of cornflower.”
**All refills are packaged in-house.**
A friend gifted me a tin of this lovely tea. She brought it back from a trip to Paris. It is visually beautiful with little purple flowers in it, the scent is gorgeous but the taste…. Incredible! Hands down my new favorite.
The EGFB IS TRULY FLAVORFUL!!! It’s a great afternoon habit!!!!!
No complaints!!!!
Always enjoy how easy it is to order from the Market Hall. When I receive my tea I sit back and enjoy!!
Earl Grey French Blue and Wedding Imperial are excellent teas although sometimes the strength is rather weak and I fear the leaves are old and tired.
